James Hooberman has more than 28 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has worked for several of the top real estate development and brokerage firms in the nation. Today, he utilizes his vast experience to build strong and lasting relationships with his clients. As a property owner himself, James brings an insider’s perspective to acquisition and development for The Hooberman Companies.
James is graduate of the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and New York University where he received his Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development.
A metro Detroit, Michigan native, James is committed to giving back to his community. His philanthropic endeavors include serving in a variety of leadership roles supporting the following organizations:

For more than 50 years, Paul Hooberman has owned and operated businesses serving the construction and real estate industries. He retired as president/owner of S.P. Fab Company, a leading structural steel contractor, to create The Hooberman Companies with his son, James.
Paul’s vast knowledge of the real estate, oil & gas, steel, construction and consulting businesses has helped make The Hooberman Companies a top choice for customers looking for personalized service and unparalleled industry experience.
Paul graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Paul is a lifelong resident of metro Detroit and has supported numerous philanthropic endeavors throughout his career.
